JP Pladek started programming at the age of six. He developed a passion for technology at a young age, building video editors and assembling computers for his father’s video company. A graduate of Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft, NJ, JP chose to pursue a career in law enforcement upon graduating and served as a police officer in Wildwood, NJ.
He soon found himself digitizing his department’s paper-based data system and retrofitting its entire fleet of vehicles with new mobile data terminals. JP’s passion for technology continued to grow at this time, and in 2003, he launched his first company.
JP initially offered residential services before expanding his team and knowledge base, shifting his focus to larger, commercial work. It was during this time that ACA Computers was born.
Today, JP remains passionate about technology and the services that he and his employees provide. He is a hands-on owner and accessible to every client, who he considers extensions of the ACA Computers family. He takes pride in the close relationships he has built with clients and is motivated each day by the improvements these companies are able to achieve by taking a strategic approach to technology.
